  • Position Summary

    Under the direction of the Center Director, this position is responsible for managing the promotional, organizational, and operational services for the Center for Cybersecurity (CCS). The incumbent will develop programs as well as strategic and operational initiatives in support of CCS’s goals. Project Manager at Center for Cybersecurity at Tandon School of Engineering. Reporting directly to the Co-Chair of the department the AD will manage all aspects of the center including organizing a variety of new initiatives, communications, relationships and projects. Responsible for all of the Center’s operations, finance and budget development, staff management, marketing initiatives, and executes the strategic plan of the organization. She will serve as a liaison to CSAW Sponsors and CCS faculty, students, donors, alumni and other audiences. The position is also responsible for the publishing of CCS' digital content to multiple online distribution points including the CCS and CSAW websites, social media channels and digital signage system.


    Required Education:
    Bachelor’s Degree

    Preferred Education:
    Master's Degree in related field

    Required Experience:
    A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated office management experience. Operational experience which includes, but not exclusively, maintaining schedule, logistics.

    Preferred Experience:
    A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including planning and implementing administrative activities and staff supervision or an equivalent combination of education and experience and providing a high level of customer service.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Ability to provide advice, creatively resolve problems, and interact with individuals at all levels in an academic setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite and other composition/file sharing tools (i.e. Google Docs, etc.), social media platforms, data-imaging and sound-processing software. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills. Knowledge of basic budget and/or accounting principles. Ability to interact with a diverse population at all levels. Proficiency with standard office software (word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications). :

    Web development, social media management, and graphic design
