  • Position Summary

    Provide high quality patient care and education to a diverse University community in accordance with established standards and medical ethics, policies and procedures of the Student Health Center.

     

    Our AAAHC accredited organization serves the Washington Square and Brooklyn locations and acts as a hub for health and wellness activities around the globe for students attending NYU at one of our many study away sites.     Qualifications

    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Nursing and NYS Nurse Practitioner license in appropriate specialty with prescription privileges, and DEA registration.

    Required Experience:
    4 years' relevant experience in ambulatory setting including 2 years as an adult or family Nurse Practitioner or an equivalent combination.

    Preferred Experience:
    Student health experience.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills. Must have BLS certification.

    Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Willingness and ability to meet demanding and flexible work schedule.
