  • Position Summary

    The Director, Operations will lead operations initiatives and activities for the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development and the NYU Leadership Initiative to ensure that they have the resources, technology, and data to deliver on their mission, assess performance, and understand impact. Direct all aspects of project management, technology, data reporting and analysis, general administration, and process implementation. Work across all student populations and interface with other administrative teams to fully maximize system and process efficiencies. Direct the creation and implementation of operations and processes for new programs as needed. Serve as the point person for data reporting standards to ensure compliance with all associated policies, rules, and regulations. Direct collection, analysis, and reporting of all student data for the Wasserman Center and the Leadership Initiative. Work closely with the Directors to ensure team initiatives are aligned. As a member of the senior leadership team, help Directors and their staff devise and measure student learning outcomes. Work with Directors to support financial management, processes, and budgeting. Assess and recommend new career service vendors to offer cutting-edge resources to students across populations. Oversee the data systems and software and management the implementation of new systems as needed.


    Required Education: Bachelor degree

    Preferred Education: Master's degree in a related field.

    Required Experience: 7 years' relevant experience in managing operations or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred Experience: Related experience in higher education.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent organizational, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong project management and data management and analysis skills. Ability to develop, conduct various seminars and workshops. Ability to interact with a diverse population at all levels. Ability to supervise staff and manage budgets.
