College of Dentistry (DN1032)
Create a comprehensive and integrated program for continuing dental education for over 1,000 dental providers. Develop, coordinate and conduct training, development and organizational development programs for faculty, as well as develop and conduct trainings for administrators, staff and researchers to ensure compliance with New York State’s Public Health Law Article 28 (Article 28). Consult with client departments to identify Article 28 training and development needs. Analyze training trends and organizational training needs to create appropriate programs. Manages the training staff.
Required Education: Master’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources or related degree.
Required Experience: At least 5 years’ experience managing training and development programs, including implementing educational methodology and technology and managing budget and staff, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience: Experience developing training programs for health care providers and educators.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent analytical, communication, platform and strategic planning skills; proven ability forecast trends in training and education, and develop and direct educational programs to suit diverse populations.
