  • Position Summary

    To produce visual assets (static graphics and animated content) for use in Curricular Design and Development, in accordance with pedagogical best practices.


    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree.

    Preferred Education:
    Master's degree preferred.

    Required Experience:
    3+ years Experience ● working with Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and other graphics, animation, and video development tools; ● developing animations to communicate or present complex concepts or to convey a narrative; ● creating rapid prototypes for projects; ● working with audio and video codecs and image file formats.

    Preferred Experience:
    -Creation of visual assets in an educational or learning environment -Experience with medical illustration -3D Modeling and Animation experience, including character animation -Direct experience working with clients

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    -Must be comfortable and competent working with the following client-based operating systems: Apple Mac and iOS, MS Windows, and Android; -Excellent written and oral communication skills; -Interpersonal and team building skills; and, -Creative problem solving abilities and initiatives

    Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    -Familiarity with Web 2.0 technologies such as Google APIs; -Knowledge of cognition theories especially as they relate to attention span, multimodal reinforcement, and visual acuity; -Knowledge of game engine platforms such as Unity 3D; -Experience with the Sakai LMS; -Familiarty with Maya, Zbrush -Experience working with clients/customers on complex projects
