  • Position Summary

    Develop and configure Peoplesoft Campus Solutions applications for Student Records, Financial Aid, Admissions, and the rest of Enrollment Management. Development efforts; prepare detailed processing specifications; develop, code and test system modifications. Provide ongoing support for applications; advise and assist users regarding application requirements, needs and solutions; develop and implement system enhancements. Monitor and maintain scheduled batch job sets. Work with functional management and other business units to optimize batch jobs for given part of cycle calendar. Identify and analyze data integrity and performance problems. Research and recommend solutions to improve security and performance.


    Required Education:
    Bachelor's degree

    Preferred Education:
    Working knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL, PeopleCode, full suite of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions technology and PeopleSoft Certifications.

    Required Experience:
    5 years' experience designing, developing and maintaining applications and modifications on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions platform. Experience with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, SQL, XML Publisher, Integration Broker, Application Engine, Application Designer, Component Interface, Process Scheduler and other PS technologies. Knowledge of PeopleSoft Systems Support Technology. Excellent problem solving skills. Hands on experience with implementation and support of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions at large or medium sized university. Strong functional and technical experience in Student Records and other PS CS modules.

    Preferred Experience:
    Experience with integrating/implementing new systems.

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Excellent problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, customer service, multi-tasking, and written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management skills. Expertise in student information systems and services or experience working with relational databases and a preferred knowledge of student records and/or academic advising processes. Must have excellent knowledge of application development life-cycle and best practices.

    Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    Working knowledge of BRIO, Tableau, ImageNow/Perceptive Content, CRM, Slate, Service Link, Intrasee. Proficiency in programming languages.
