  • Position Summary

    The Student Health Center is looking for an RN to join our Primary Care team who is interested in working with our diverse international student population at our Brooklyn (Metrotech) location. The Primary Care RN is able to use critical thinking skills to provide excellent nursing care to NYU students and to manage the needs of a busy department with multiple providers. Triage, health education, and administration of vaccines and medications to students are a routine part of the nursing activities.

     

    Our AAAHC accredited organization serves the Washington Square and Brooklyn locations and acts as a hub for health and wellness activities around the globe for students attending NYU at one of our many study away sites.     Qualifications

    Required Education:
    New York State RN license

    Preferred Education:
    BSN

    Required Experience:
    2 years experience as a registered nurse.

    Preferred Experience:
    Experience in an ambulatory environment. Emergency room experience (urgent care only); OB/GYN experience (women's health services only).

    Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
    BLS certification
