Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing and Student Philanthropy, the Assistant Director, Digital Initiatives, will be responsible for the execution of annual fund digital initiatives, including but not limited to web presence, email outreach, young alumni outreach, and mini-campaigns 2-4 times/year. He or she will enhance online outreach by managing the NYU giving site, including analytics, site redesign and updates, and manage troubleshooting related to online giving. He or she will also manage the digital communication for our student giving efforts, annual fund stewardship, and NYU One Day.


Required Education:
Bachelor's degree.

Required Experience:
2-3 years' experience in digital marketing, direct marketing, digital/web communication, or equivalent combination

Preferred Experience:

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Highly familiar with web and digital marketing strategies, experience in digital content management systems, familiarity with fundraising software such as Advance, project management skills and associated software, Google Analytics implantation and reporting, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft office suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Experience with web design, social media engagement and analytic strategies, In-Design. . Experience in higher education, non-profit, or development environment.
