Position Summary

Manage and oversee the day to day operations of the MS program in Clinical Research. Develop, plan and manage department program activities (seminars, conferences, orientation, graduation reception etc.). Provide student advisement on program issues and guidelines. Provide support for faculty, classroom reservation, activating course sites, grade posting, and proctoring exams. Develop evaluations and surveys for program. Assist Program Director in budget planning, including reimbursements for director and other program related expenditures. Plan department events such as orientations, meetings and social events; research, select and negotiate prices, terms of service and delivery with vendors and supervise logistical arrangements. Represent College to potential students through on-campus and off-campus recruitment events including travel outside of NYC (fairs, open houses, receptions, information sessions, colleges, corporations). Advise students on application process and refer to the correct department for questions or to resolve issues (e.g., University and College programs, academic requirements, financial aid options, housing, and other student services).

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education:
Master's degree

Required Experience:
2 years’ relevant experience in admissions or related student services area including experience managing program or office operations.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to promote College and to work independently as well as part of a team. Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations and/or people. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively.
