NYU IT-PSO is seeking a 2 year fixed term Project Director to serve on major HR administrative systems projects, ensuring overall accountability for successful completion, ownership of the HR Program roadmap and detailed project plans, and responsibility for defining and resolving issues. Manage relationship building between project team and different stakeholder groups, resource planning, and appropriate representation of different functional and technical areas. Develop project plan to ensure appropriate transition to operational status and successful hand-off. Work with project owners to define project scope and timeframes, develop project charter and project plans, budgets and resourcing requirements. Consult and advise stakeholders on budget implications. Develop related performance metrics and standards. Support and advise the Program Services Office Senior Director for HR Projects, the Vice President of Human Resources, and other senior management in the overall management of the project portfolio. Must have Workday project experience.
Master's degree in business administration, information technology, or related field.
At least 10 years' experience and expertise in related project management, including complex projects involving multiple functional groups or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in business process change, change management, and supervising both line staff and contract staff.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Project Management Professional certification. Six Sigma Black Belt Certified (or higher) certification.
