Reporting to, and working in close collaboration with, the assistant dean for development and alumni relations, the senior project manager works with colleagues across the department to shepherd projects and initiatives through the various stakeholders to completion. The senior project manager is also responsible for taking a wide-angle look at tasks across the department and “connecting the dots” between the departments, and providing updates to the assistant dean as projects progress or run into obstacles.
3 years relevant professional level experience, including experience in fundraising, interacting with important donors, and writing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a fast-paced academic or nonprofit academic environment, especially in development or public relations.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated organizational, writing, and event management skills. Proven ability to problem solve, adapt quickly, and deal with highly charged situations and individuals sensitively.
