Our Workday HRIS Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the University's HR Administrative systems and operations. Provide functional support and maintenance of Workday (HRIS). Work with HR, Academic Appointments and ITS to resolve configuration and integration issues. Respond to a variety of report requests related to HR and Compensation data. Work with the HR-Payroll Cross-functional team on a wide variety of projects to address new business needs, implement improvements and sustain efficiency across the different HR functional areas.
3 years' related experience at the HRIS analyst level within an HR/Payroll function or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with business requirements definition, data analysis, and reporting within different areas in Human Resources.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Understanding of Strategic HR and HR/Payroll operations. Proven knowledge of process excellence, business analysis, re-engineering, and process modeling. Strong analytical skills. Ability to creatively solve system-related production problems and effectively juggle multiple incidents. Ability to develop effective business relationships and build consensus. Strong team player. Excellent writing and communication skills. Experience developing queries and reports using Workday.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Configure Workday system, create/modify business processes in Workday highly preferred. Ability to translate and interpret large data sets.
