Position Summary

Support the initiation, operation, management, and transition to production of system projects within Financial Systems Management (FSM) Department. Participate on cross-functional project teams and develop documentation, timelines, deliverables, and recommendations. Develop training guides and manuals for financial information systems [e.g., Fame, etc.]. Administer security and process requests to grant access to various financial systems, ensuring access remains limited to business needs and meets audit standards. Analyze a variety of budgetary data and variances to prepare summaries and recommendations for Management. Serve as FSM liaison to within the organization for financial system security privileges requests.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education:
N/A

Required Experience:
3 years of relevant experience as an analyst within a Finance function, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with business requirements definition, data analysis, and reporting within different areas of Finance.

Preferred Experience:
Project administration experience in an academic or non-profit setting.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong problem solving skills and ability to follow up on instructions independently and meet deadlines and achieve goals. Proficient knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisory personnel, co-workers, subordinates, business professionals as well as faculty and administrators.
