NYU’s Stern School of Business seeks an Admissions Coordinator for its operations group as part of a collaborative team of elite professionals in the MBA Admissions Office. The Coordinator will help manage the overall process for Stern’s MBA programs and help shape the incoming MBA class. S/he will assist with a variety of projects in operations, such as managing the interview process, developing the online application, helping manage the database, reporting and analyzing data as well as handling specific applicant cases. The selected candidate will also be part of the admissions process and interpret and communicate admissions criteria to prospective students; review and evaluate academic credentials of prospective students; and assist with developing strategies for achieving enrollment goals. Other duties include: administering the departmental budget; communicating with the applicant pool; and hosting on and off-site admissions events.
Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree along with 2 years of experience in marketing, recruiting, admissions, student services or a related area. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, writing and communication skills are required. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database software is essential.
