Assist with the daily operation activities of the CSLC (Clinical Simulation Learning Center) including preparing and cleaning rooms, moving and/or lifting manikins, and restocking medical/nursing supplies for simulation sessions. Maintain cleanliness of center, prepare simulated and intravenous and oral medications, and create charts in Electronic Health Record (EHR). Serve as center receptionist, greet visitors, answer telephones, respond to routine inquiries and provide basic information. Assist with maintaining and monitoring safety and security of the facility, within guidelines. Retrieve mail and sign for packages and other deliveries.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months working in an office environment. Experience with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to use and maintain hi-fidelity equipment including use of patient simulators and other medical/nursing equipment/devices and supplies. Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team. Ability to lift and/or move large, heavy (50-100 lbs.) items, stand, sit, bend, and/or stoop for long periods.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google docs, and PowerPoint.
