Position Summary

The Graduate School of Arts and Science is seeking a talented Enrollment IT Support Specialist to join the Graduate Enrollment Services team. This individual will support the development and maintenance of complex databases that support various admissions, registration and financial aid functions. Assist with the timely generation of routine and canned reports for the Graduate School offices and departments. Review and test applications that manage admissions and financial aid and identify changing reporting needs. Assist with set-up and maintenance of computer workstations and/or local area network configuration. Create, update and maintain webpages. Assist with the admissions application processing, coordinating applicant requests, generating correspondence and other related duties, as needed.

Qualifications

Required Education:
High School diploma or equivalent and some relevant technical training.

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree.

Required Experience:
3-5 years of related experience. Experience providing customer support in an IT environment. Experience using database software.

Preferred Experience:
Experience using Microsoft Access. Experience updating and maintaining a website.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of computing procedures and standards, and desktop and network configurations. Knowledge of hardware and software. Knowledge of database structures. Ability to set up and run diagnostics, troubleshoot and resolve an array of system problems.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of PeopleSoft. Knowledge of report-writing packages.
