Position Summary

This position reports to the Director, Budget & Financial Operations in the Office of Global Programs. This role will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing activity (financial, enrollment, etc.) as it relates to Global Programs operations (including global study abroad sites and the NY-based central operations). The Analyst will be responsible for creating and circulating routine reports (Financial, operational, etc.), forecasting revenue & expenses, preparing profit and loss statements and other ad hoc reports as required. This position will assist the Budget Analyst in loading budgets and in the preparation of annual Budget presentations. The Analyst will maintain a working functional knowledge of business needs and practices of the University’s administrative processes. This position is an integral part of the Office of Global Programs and must be a good team player.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Education:
Degree in Business administration, Finance or related field

Required Experience:
2-3 years related experience, including conducting financial analysis and reporting.

Preferred Experience:
Experience working in a global context within higher education

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong quantitative modeling skills. Ability to write well, speak effectively, and work in fast-paced analytical teams essential. Ability to frame results of financial and policy analysis in a clear, cogent, concise, and compelling fashion. Proficient with spreadsheet, database, word processing, and query tool software.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Excel.
