At least three years’ professional experience conducting investigations related to sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, and/or gender-related violence in a higher-education setting or other related field.Preferred Experience:

Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and negotiate complex, highly sensitive situations. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including skill in writing concise, logical analytical reports to convey complex issues. Excellent critical thinking skills, including the demonstrated ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and facilitate resolution of difficult challenges while maintaining strict confidentiality and sensitivity. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to listen well and demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for individual needs. Ability to maintain neutrality and work under stress. Ability to work collaboratively and professionally across multiple constituencies to resolve complaints in a neutral, sensitive manner. Working knowledge of nondiscrimination laws and compliance regulations (including Title IX, the Clery Act, VAWA, and FERPA) and due process protections as they apply to Student Conduct policies.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Title IX Investigator training certification (as administered by the Association of Title IX Administrators or other similar organization) or ability to obtain such certification within 60 days of employment.
