The Office of the Dean is seeking an individual to design, develop, and execute strategic marketing directives to promote activity across all NYUSPS global locations, including NYUSPS Tokyo, NYUSPS at NYU Shanghai, and all future NYUSPS global endeavors. Program development will focus in the industry sectors, which the School serves including real estate, sports management, global affairs, hospitality, tourism management, project management, integrated marketing, public relations, human resource management, information systems management, professional writing, translation, and publishing. This position will work closely with the Dean of the NYU School of Professional Studies and with the Assistant Dean of Strategic Marketing and Communications, in conjunction with University offices as well as global partners, This position will also serve as a liaison between the directors at the global campuses and academic centers, the internal and external marketing departments, and the external agencies to ensure all campaigns are executed in a timely manner and within allocated budgets.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing
MBA with a concentration in Marketing or Master's degree in Marketing
A minimum of 7 years of globally focused integrated marketing strategy development, with deep cultural competencies in building marketing plans that support the roll out and continued promotion of academic programs in international locations. Proven track record of developing marketing and advertising strategies that are enrollment driven and focus on student or customer acquisition and retention. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with internal resources and external agencies to satisfy recruitment goals and objectives.Strong project management and organizational skills that ensure complex, multi-faceted advertising and direct marketing campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. Deep working knowledge of digital and print advertising in cross-cultural environments. Experience in building consensus among multiple stakeholders with differing views and goals. Management of substantial advertising and marketing budgets with direct profit and loss responsibility. Strong analytical skills and the ability to review campaign results and make decisions to rectify shortfalls in results and to research and suggest new vehicles for heightened performance.
Experience working for a University with global academic sites. Recruitment marketing for educational programs in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Media planning and buying, direct marketing, project management, budget planning, strategic analysis. Excellent writing, editing, communication, management, and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds across the School. Ability to communicate with School and University leadership on all aspects of marketing and recruitment strategy. Expertise in the development of long-term plans for public relations, communications and publications. Strong organizational and management skills, coupled with the ability to think both creatively and strategically. Ability to work and to deliver content under tight deadlines.
