Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.Preferred Education:
Certified Protection Professional, Physical Security Professional, and/or Master’s Degree.Required Experience:
5-10 years of progressively responsible, relevant work experience.Preferred Experience:
Experience in a leadership role in security for Higher Education and/or crime prevention at state/local/federal agency, global experience. Experience working with and maintaining GIS data and crime statistics.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
The successful candidate will demonstrate: current familiarity with security and emergency industry trends in both operations and technology, a successful track record of executive communication, and well-developed analytical abilities. Collaborates well, working in a team environment. Proficient written and oral communication. Can interpret crime statistics, maps, and schematic diagrams. Working understanding of security technology. Ability to understand and apply security and risk assessment methodologies in multiple operating contexts. Working knowledge of CPTED principles, security operations practices.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
