Position Summary

Provide analytical support to New York University's College of Global Public Public Health (CGPH) grants and fiscal offices. Work under the Office of the Associate Dean of Research in close collaboration with the CGPH faculty, and as Office of the Associate Dean of Administration, Finance and Planning and their staff. Coordinate grants management with other NYU schools and central offices (e.g., SPA) as needed. Evaluate award letters and budgets, financial/ accounting reports, set-up and close-out projects, and resolve discrepancies. Other related duties as assigned.


Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or other analytical discipline.

Preferred Education:

Required Experience:
At least 2 years quantitative analytical experience, preferably in finance or accounting; experience working with post-award grants management including NIH and other federal or international grants.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in a college or university setting.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong quantitative and modeling skills. Ability to use databases, workflow systems, and presentation and standard query tool software. Ability to understand management requirements and broader processes and to frame the result of research and financial analysis in a clear and concise fashion. Demonstrated proficiency with intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with Oracle software including Hyperion Planning and financial reporting query. Delete Oracle.Peoplesync, UDW+,Cayuse, FAME, AP Workflow, i-Buy.
