Position Summary

This is a senior level BI Tableau administrator/manager to lead the growing university-wide Tableau core service. Responsibilities include server administration, application and reporting builds, design, development, support, training, community engagement and guiding best practices.


Required Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, System Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Education:
Masters degree

Required Experience:
4+ years direct Tableau server implementation, administration, system integration, dashboard design, development experience IS/IT background with a strong understanding of enterprise level applications Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft SQL database concepts and network technologies

Preferred Experience:
5-7+ years direct Tableau server administration, dashboard design, development experience in a large enterprise environment

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of BI tools, and supported architectures (eg. ETL, SQL, Java, Windows, VM, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) Hands-on experience with enterprise systems management, security, system and business analysis Strong verbal and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team/project-oriented environment

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Tableau Desktop certified - Tableau Server certified
