Position Summary

Perform a wide range of clerical, secretarial and general office duties including those of a confidential nature. Assist with the prioritization of office activities; complete a variety of tasks; and monitoring work of student and/or casual employees. Respond to inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the department's activities, policies and programs. Serve as a source of information to the general public, students, staff and faculty on policies, procedures, general operations and events. Take minutes at several regularly-occuring meetings. Customize and/or compose letters on own initiative or in response to requests for information. Perform general word processing duties utilizing intermediate to advanced-level functions. Modify and/or create databases and complex spreadsheets. Monitor and track activity of complex department budgets and/or grants. Conduct other administrative duties such as expense reimbursements, calendar management, and meeting schedule.


Required Education:
High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education:
Bachelors degree

Required Experience:
3 years of office experience in a fast-paced, executive-level environment or equivalent combination is required. Experience providing a high level of customer service.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, organization, professionalism, and attention to detail. Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with intermediate-level Salesforce is preferred.
