Arts and Science is seeking an experienced Manager to join Psychology and the Center for Neural Science. This individual will manage operations and staff for the Center for Experimental Social Science Research and provide state-of-the-art technological support to meet faculty and researchers' social scientific computing and experimental software needs for various research projects.
Bachelor's degree and
Master's degree or advance training in science-related technical support.
5 years or more of relevant experience with experimental software development and research or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience with network administration, configuration, installation and security management in a large client/server operation.
Experience in an academic research setting.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, project management and analytic skills. Ability to effectively communicate with diverse population. Knowledge of Linux system administration, relational database management, Windows Server and Mac OS.
