The position will be responsible for providing functional support to all university offices using Slate Technolutions under the NYU Enterprise contract. This person will also serve as liaison between the NYU IT team and Enrollment Management Unit in the implementation of system fixes and enhancements. This person will support the activities of the Director of Student Information Systems in the planning and implementation of Slate Technolutions to all units across the University.
Relevant courses (systems analysis, database systems, Java, web programming).
At least 2 years of experience using Slate Technolutions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with security administration for related systems and applications (e.g., PeopleSoft) and supporting mainframe systems.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to diagnose & troubleshoot system errors. Ability to develop strong business relationships and build consensus. Strong team player. Excellent writing and communication skills. Able to complete tasks with aggressive timelines. Experience developing reports using PeopleSoft queries, BRIO, Tableau or similar reporting tools.
