Position Summary

The Senior IT Manager will manage all operations and staff for the IT administration of the Institute for the Study of Decision Making (ISDM) and The Human Project (THP). This person will plan and direct IT strategy and manage all current and future IT systems. This position will also develop many new systems, protocols and prepare for and manage crisis scenarios


Required Education:
BS in computer science, information technology management or equivalent and

Preferred Education:
MS in Technology Management

Required Experience:
10+ years of related professional level experience or advance training in science-related technical support. Must include experience with network administration, configuration, installation and security management in a large client/server operation. Must include management experience.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in an academic research setting.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, project management, analytic and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population of highly technical and less technical staff and researchers. Knowledge of Linux system administration, Windows 10, Mac OS, database management, network administration, network security protocols.
