Manage the Media Services Office technical operations to ensure effective delivery of multi-media services throughout a wide variety of events. Develop and implement operating policies and procedures; manage staff providing equipment installation, maintenance, and repair of portable and in-room equipment. Advise and counsel faculty, students and staff on available media services and equipment usage. Supervise the running crew for major events.
2 year's or more relevant supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience consulting on a variety of audio, visual, and multimedia equipment and use; troubleshooting and performing complex repairs; preparing display equipment for interface with current LAN systems; managing a budget; and managing office operations and supervising staff.
Relative event management experience within a large university setting, conference center, hotel, or theater.

Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and problem solving skills. Ability to provide training and communicate technical information to non-technical users.
