Position Summary

The Administrative Coordinator will split their time providing administrative support to the Administrative Management Council (“AMC”) and the Office of University HR. This position will provide analysis and organization of processes and communication for the AMC. Monitor expenditures; act as administrative liaison for the AMC with other University offices; interpret and apply University policies, practices, and procedures to address various administrative matters while partnering with the elected officers of the AMC.  Provide full support for the UHR recognition program events, assisting with activities related to administrative support and events planning.

Position Qualifications:

  • Assist with administrative coordination of HRs yearly recognition events
  • Partner with AMC leadership, program coordination will assist with various aspects of the Communications strategy (marketing, advertising & events). Additionally, Administrative Coordinator will analyze yearly surveys and monitor yearly officer nominations process. Attend and record minutes for the monthly AMC meetings
  • On a daily basis, prepare benefits billing spreadsheets and medical funding requests and submit to Accounts Payable for processing.  Track all payments in a billing tracker.  Run UDW report in order to ensure timely payments.  Reconcile 8-10 monthly insurance bills by comparing participant headcount on invoice to plan enrollment

  • Assist with accounting process related to AMC expenses, including but not limited to processing purchase orders and invoices in the University’s iBuy system


Required Education

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination)
