As part of the College's development fundraising team, assist to cultivate donors for specific financial solicitations by fundraising team. Draft briefings and write remarks for e.g. Dean, Vice Dean, Assistant Dean, and Sr. Director as needed to use for cultivation purposes. Formulate and implement stewardship for donors and prospects to meet with College personnel and to encourage donations. Promote the College and University programs and initiatives to cultivate active donors and solicit volunteer participation.
Bachelor's degree and
2 years' fundraising and university experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in an academic, non-profit and/or development environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment. Ability to professionally interact with all levels of students, staff, faculty and outside groups. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Familiarity with presentation software and desktop publishing applications.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with MS Office, Access and Powerpoint. Strong writing ability. Familiarity with Advance databases.
