Required Experience:
10+ years 12+ years of progressively responsible professional experience. At least 7 years in a leadership role. Managerial experience of technical staff in a multi-project and ongoing operations environment. Progressively responsible professional experience in information technology with heavy emphasis on application selection, design, configuration, development, integration, implementation, testing, and support. Experience with enterprise-scale applications, including PeopleSoft SIS or other SIS ERP solution; Learning Management Systems or equivalent experience; web applications; and application development.
Preferred Experience:
10+ years experience with PeopleSoft SIS or similar SIS ERP solutions, Learning Management Systems, housing and immigration solutions. Significant experience managing high-availability/mission-critical system. Hands-on experience with implementation, upgrades, security, and support of ERP applications at large or medium sized University. Previous experience in software design, development, and maintenance methodologies. Management experience in a higher education environment. Strong functional experience in Student Information Systems and Learning Management Systems.

Ability to provide technical advice to a non-technical audience. Ability to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an organization, both inside and outside the University. Prior supervisory experience required. A solid understanding of hardware, software, database management, software development, cloud environments, and networking is required. Strong knowledge of enterprise application deployment and support methodologies. Ability to analyze trends and make recommendations. Ability to effectively integrate and manage complex projects. Must be well-versed in data quality and data management practices to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data in NYU systems and be able to strictly follow data privacy and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards.
