The Program Administrator, Leadership Education Portfolio, serves as the primary operational coordinator for all leadership development programs within the College of Dentistry. The individual in this role is responsible for the comprehensive administration, logistics coordination, and strategic support of leadership programs and initiatives, as well as faculty development and executive leadership training programs offered both at NYU Dentistry, and at locations across NYU’s Global Academic Centers. The program administrator ensures program sustainability, enhances student and faculty engagement, and supports the portfolio's vision for growth and excellence.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration or related field
Required Experience:
3+ years administrative experience managing projects, programs and/or events or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years Experience in an academic, clinical or research environment
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate information to a diverse population at all levels. Knowledge of standard office software.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Understanding of leadership development principles and adult learning theory. Knowledge of higher education administration and student affairs. Familiarity with government relations and advocacy processes. Experience with international program coordination. Event planning and logistics management experience.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,200.00 to USD $85,800.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
