Position Summary

Collaborate with the director to drive the strategic growth of NYU Abu Dhabi’s visiting student program. Cultivate outreach opportunities across academic programs, student clubs, and schools at the Abu Dhabi, New York, and Shanghai campuses. Manage the development and execution of outreach materials, including presentations, website content, and advising resources. Manage logistics and budget needs for recruitment and yield events, partnering with faculty and advisors to design programming that positions Abu Dhabi as a premier global study site.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years experience in outreach, program coordination, student engagement, communications, or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
2+ years Experience coordinating student-facing projects. Experience using design or communications tools (e.g., Canva, presentation design, social media content development). Familiarity with NYU Abu Dhabi’s academic offerings, student life, and global opportunities.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to interpret and communicate policies to individuals at all levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly as they can be applied to social media.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and engage confidently and professionally with students, faculty, and campus partners across global sites. Enthusiasm for student engagement, outreach, and community-building initiatives is essential. Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate detailed logistical needs while adapting to fast-paced and evolving program requirements. Flexibility is required, including a willingness to work evenings and weekends and to travel domestically or internationally as needed.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $79,200.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
