Arts & Science (A&S) is seeking a dedicated Administrator to join the team. The Administrator will supervise business and administrative operations for A&S Space Planning and Management: manage 24+ guest apartments and 100+ post-doc apartments; plan budgets and monitor expenditures to stay within budget; act as administrative liaison with other school and University offices; interpret and apply University policies, practices and procedures to address moderately complex administrative matters.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree and
Required Experience:
At least 2 years' relevant experience and basic knowledge of a specific area (e.g., supervising administrative services/processes, and staff) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with space projects/renovation planning
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills. Knowledge of standard office software.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $80,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
