Position Summary

The Administrative Manager in the Office of Global Programs manages opportunities for faculty engagement, oversees office administration and supports senior leaders at the Office of Global Programs in working and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Manage the collection, review and distribution of grants to facilitate faculty mobility in the global network, as well as the planning of coordination of key strategic meetings with faculty and strategic partners. Develop and manage website content and communication materials for senior leadership. Oversee the administrative support for office programs and events, arranges travel, and monitors office-related expenses and travel and event budgets. Oversee the maintenance of databases, program files, and handbooks, and interprets and implements travel and other office policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
5+ years relevant experience in communications or combination of experience and education.

Preferred Experience:
7+ years Experience managing office operations. Experience working with faculty, project management and/or event planning.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail, good judgement and exceptional writing skills are a must. Excellent organizational, planning, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Ability to take initiative and manage a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously, including high level events. Ability to act in a professional and confidential manner with all levels of employees and outside groups and effectively respond to simultaneous requests and projects. Knowledge of advanced functions for MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) and familiarity with relational databases.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $76,500.00 to USD $93,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
