Position Summary

Under the direction of the Arts & Science Vice Dean for Inclusive Excellence, the Manager of Faculty Programming manages and facilitates orientations, discussion sessions, and programming for faculty at Arts & Science. The Manager also develops support structures, tracks and measures progress and efforts, and coordinates both internal and external collaborations. Additionally, they provide oversight and support to the development, implementation, and assessment of the Arts & Science equity and inclusion programming supporting faculty populations.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Master's Degree

Required Experience:
5+ years experience developing and facilitating DEI programs; budget management, development/grant/fundraising experience.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in higher education working with faculty.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills. Ability to effectively communicate and engage with all levels. Knowledge of best practices for equitable searches, inclusive excellence in academia and restorative practices. Intermediate knowledge of google suite, excel, and other data tracking and analysis tools. Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate project and program needs.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00 to USD $90,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
