Position Summary

Provide technical support in the design, development, installation and maintenance of hardware and software for desktop computers in a diverse and complex computing environment. Manage hardware and software lifecycle for PC and Mac computers including research, test, purchase, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, update/upgrade, and disposal/decommission. Deploy and manage servers, tools, solutions and services for endpoint management and endpoint security. Provide user onboarding, training and support for hardware and software. Address complex endpoint IT issues escalated by service desk teams. Adherence to enterprise change management policies and procedures. Participate in knowledge management and the creation of knowledge base articles.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

Required Experience:
3+ years management of PC and Mac computers using endpoint automation tools and solutions.

Preferred Experience:
5+ years

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to provide technical leadership and management of complex projects. Programming or scripting proficiency in Bash, Powershell and VBscript. Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Management of PC and Mac computers using endpoint automation tools and solutions with Workspace One, Kace, JAMF.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,424.64 to USD $86,074.56. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
