Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Specialist, Registrar Assistant provides administrative duties for the Office of the Registrar. Respond to complex customer service inquiries displaying a comprehensive knowledge of departmental and University policies and procedures. Ensure timely and accurate processing of student records updates. Assist with data entry and data management required to support registrar functions.

Qualifications

Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
3+ years related experience. Experience providing customer service.

Preferred Experience:
2+ years of office experience (with Associate’s Degree). 1 year of office experience (with Bachelor’s degree). Office experience in college/university setting and with records and data management

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Advanced level skills with computers and business/productivity software (MS Office, Google Suite), word processing, spreadsheets, database applications, and basic office equipment (telephone, photocopiers, scanners, fax, etc.)

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Advanced level analytical and communication (written and oral) skills

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $37.905. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
