Position Summary
Provide therapeutic dental services that support promotion of good oral health; perform preliminary oral examinations and prophylactic treatments; gather and record new patient information; take intra-oral, digital and traditional radiographs, and provide information to patients on their health status to help them develop and maintain good oral health.
Qualifications
Required Education: Associate's Degree from accredited Dental Hygiene Program
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree from accredited Dental Hygiene Program
Required Experience: 3 years' experience as a Dental Hygienist. Valid NYS Dental Hygiene license.
Preferred Experience: 5 years' experience as a Dental Hygienist in private practice settings. Valid NYS Dental Hygiene license.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent patient relationship skills, ability to communicate effectively with a diverse client population.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $44.929. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
