Position Summary

Arts & Science is seeking a talented Program Administrator to join the Program in Museum Studies. This individual will manage services involving faculty, students, and administration for the program, as well as advise students of offerings and requirements. Implement policies and procedures; develop and maintain the program website; manage the program budget, including grant accounts; prepare annual and interim reports, analyze trends, and projects; supervise staff, and plan program events and activities.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Required Experience:
2 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience overseeing office activities, staff supervision, budget administration, and special events planning.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in an academic environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and web-based applications (e.g., CMS, HTML).

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000.00 to USD $80,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
