NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Director, Executive Education. Reporting directly to the Vice Dean of Executive Programs, the Senior Director will direct all aspects of executive non-degree education, which includes custom programs, short courses, and on-line certificate programs. They will lead strategic planning, developing and managing corporate relationships and ensuring the School delivers excellent education programs and generates profitable growth. The Senior Director will lead new business development and competitive proposal generation, guide the non-degree executive education team, and market the schools’ executive education offerings. They will also develop robust open enrollment programs, grow enrollments, and identify new curricular areas and areas for growth. The Senior Director will work with academic departments for staffing programs, and with other departments at Stern, such as corporate engagement and alumni and development, to deepen engagement in non-degree executive engagement activities. The position is responsible for meeting revenue targets, developing new programs, improving existing ones, and working in close collaboration with Stern's world-class faculty and the senior management of leading global corporations.
The selected candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (MBA or Master’s degree preferred) and 7+ of business experience in client facing positions, such as executive education, business development, or learning and development, including owning budgets and managing people, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A proven ability to develop and implement a robust strategy for growing non degree executive education, and to meet revenue goals, is required along with strong business development skills, knowledge of online marketing, and ability to develop deep corporate relationships. Excellent leadership, judgment, emotional intelligence, communication skills, and project management skills are essential. The ability to understand and work with faculty to develop programs based on faculty expertise that meet the needs of the business community, and negotiate contracts with high level clients in a proactive and results driven environment is also required.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $165,000.
