Position Summary

Perform clerical, secretarial, and general office duties for the department. Answer phones, greet visitors and schedule appointments. Perform general word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry duties utilizing basic level functions. Delegate and monitor routine tasks of student employees.

Qualifications

Required Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:
1 year of office experience.

Preferred Experience:
2 years of office experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with basic word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Light, accurate keyboarding.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with intermediate Microsoft Word and basic Microsoft Excel. Moderate, accurate keyboarding.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $35.186. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
