Assist with administration and oversight of the College's sponsored research activity. Manage funded grants to ensure accurate accounting, record-keeping, reporting, data analysis, and budgeting. Advise Principal Investigators on grant funds management and budget planning, new funding opportunities, and status of accounts. Interpret funding agency and University guidelines, and terms of grant contracts. Monitor appropriate spending, analyze and revise budgets, and develop financial reports for sponsoring agents to ensure compliance with required grant reporting.
Required Education:
Bachelors degree.
Required Experience:
3 years of relevant experience with budget or grants management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
Related experience in an academic or research environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of laws, principles, rules, and policies relating to federally funded grants and contracts to universities. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of database and spreadsheet software.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency with MS Office suite, particularly Excel. Experience with grants.gov.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,002.00 to USD $85,558.00. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
