Position Summary

The Program Administrator at CUSP will be a key resource in managing administrative and academic operations for Tandon School of Engineering's Center for Urban Science + Progress (CUSP) Master’s Program. The position will support enrollment and matriculation, plan and coordinate CUSP events, promote and facilitate academic programming (workshops, speakers), and drive the day to day student experience. The position will support the CUSP Manager, Academic Administration & Student Engagement, to oversee activities and schedules of CUSP student workers, ensuring accurate and timely payroll. The position will work to ensure overall efficient and effective operations for CUSP Education.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree engineering, computer science, education, or technology discipline

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in engineering, computer science, education, technology, communications, organizational management, or another appropriate discipline.

Required Experience:
3+ years providing administrative/operational support, higher education/technical background

Preferred Experience:
3+ years Experience and success with student recruitment and student engagement.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Must enjoy working with people and be effective at establishing and managing relationships at the NYU, city, state, national, and international levels. Must interact effectively and over the long-term with NYU students, staff, faculty, alumni, administrators, etc. Understanding of science and technology and its impact on society is required. Excellent communication skills: written/oral/presentation/etc. Computer literacy/proficiency is essential. MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Must be well versed in quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data in NYU systems and be able to strictly follow data privacy and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
