Position Summary

NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director, Academic Affairs and Advising. The Assistant Director will advise students, manage student advisement programs for new and continuing MBA students and specific accountability for the successful operations of the MBA Academic Affairs & Advising Office. Develop methods to improve and promote Academic Affairs programs to students and the community, write and edit policies, plan and implement procedures to maximize department and program goals.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (a Master's Degree in Counseling, Higher Education, Business or related field is preferred) and 3+ years relevant experience, including customer service experience, such as academic advisement and counseling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, demonstrated writing ability, and proficiency using word-processing, database and spreadsheet software are required.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $65,454.55 to USD $79,999.99. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
