The Nurse Manager will supervise clinical nursing operations throughout the Student Health Center in a team. Each Nurse Manager is responsible for knowing the breadth of nursing services across multiple clinical areas but are assigned to specific areas as determined by the Director of Nursing and Medical Director. Nurse Managers are expected to perform routine supervisory tasks including performance evaluations, hiring, scheduling, and provide direct patient care when required. In addition, they are expected to show leadership in the areas of staff training and development, quality improvement, and health promotion initiatives that support the Student Health Center’s mission.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or New York state RN license
Required Experience:
5+ years experience as a registered nurse.
Preferred Experience:
Relevant clinical experience in an ambulatory or acute care environment. Experience in supervisory or team leader role.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
BLS certification
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $$101,012.50 to USD $121,012.50. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
