The Web and Digital Producer (the Producer) has vital functions on the NYU Gallatin School's Communications team. The position reports directly to the Associate Director of Communications.
Responsibilities for this role include:
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Web/digital design, communications, or similar
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, public administration, or an interdisciplinary field of study
Required Experience:
3+ years Relevant, increasingly responsible experience, including experience with Adobe Suite, including but not limited to, Adobe Photoshop, as well as experience with content management systems.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent project management skills, and organizational skills Familiarity with website analytics (i.e. Google Analytics) and knowledge of best practices for website architecture, design, user experience, and SEO. Confirms the website, digital and social media remain in compliance with all regulations including but not limited to, ADA. Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and publishing applications. Organizes and oversees video/photo management system, properly tag, categorize, and store all digital assets.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to tailor content to different audiences Strong understanding of and relevant experience with website SEO and accessibility best practices Experience with project management software, content management and digital asset management systems Strong user experience and inclusive design, with an orientation toward customer service Professional experience writing for the web and/or other public-facing channels, especially in education/higher education or nonprofit organizations Solid copy-editing, proofreading, and fact-checking experience

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $76,500.00 to USD $93,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
