Position Summary

Provide administrative support for the Department of Photography and Imaging including, supervising staff, overseeing admissions and registration activities, advising students and designing the department's website.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree and

Required Experience:
2 years' relevant adminisrative experience or an equivalent combination. Must include experience administering office operations, budgets and supervising staff.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in an academic setting or arts administration.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Working knowledge of PhotoShop and web-based sodtware.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $64,228.79 to USD $78,501.85. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
