Position Summary

The Program Administrator will play a pivotal role in managing major events and initiatives, contributing to the success and global impact of the department. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of events and administrative duties. Plan, coordinate, and execute major events for the Office for International Programs. Manage the events and budget administration for the International Program including recruitment, travel, supply expense, inventories, marketing and consultant expenses. Provide reports and make recommendations on event expenses, which help determine future student marketing projects. Monitor travel expense and make recommendations based on recruitment trends.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
3+ years relevant administrative, supervisory, budget and/or event management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years relevant administrative, supervisory, or student advisement experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing software. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $67,500.00 to USD $82,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
