The Office of Student Services for the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study is looking for a Student Services Administrator to manage the business operations for the Office of Student Services to ensure effective and efficient delivery of registration and grading services to Gallatin students, faculty and staff ensuring that departmental and School objectives are accomplished. Develop and enhance School's internal registration policies and procedures to ensure optimal service and integrity of student data. Develop School’s academic calendar; propose deadlines for internal registration practices. Direct student service office-related communications to students and faculty regarding imperative registration and academic policies, procedures and deadlines. Develop and identify solutions to resolve complex registration issues and authorize exceptions. Oversee School’s registration and grading processes in SIS/PeopleSoft; generate and analyze reports; oversee management of student records and databases.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
3+ years experience working in a student services/registrar office within a college or university setting.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage and lead a team. At least intermediate-level experience with MS Word, Excel, Access and MS Publisher and database software applications. High attention to detail and time management skills.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Experience working with NYU’s student information system (Campus Solutions/PeopleSoft), and NYU’s communication platform (E-mail Direct). Experience with website content management systems. Ability to work non-traditional hours during peak registration periods (i.e. Mon-Fri, 10am to 6pm) and some weekend hours (one weekend per semester) may be required.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $64,800.00 to USD $79,200.00. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
