Position Summary

Provide leadership and direction around strategic planning, project management, financial planning, and global and school-wide program development activities. Develop, evaluate, and structure new credit and non-credit academic opportunities for the NYU School of Professional Studies, including continuing and executive education, based on internal and external stakeholders’ priorities and domestic and international student and industry learning needs. Develop strategic partnerships with industry and educational institutions, resulting in new revenue generation. Establish metrics, monitor initiatives, and ensure learning goals are fulfilled for new opportunities.  

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree

Required Experience:
7+ years 7-10 years related experience in a for profit, academic or not-for-profit organization. Must have experience in development and evaluation of revenue-generating business opportunities and/or educational initiatives, programs and budget management.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Outstanding organization, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to identify and evaluate business opportunities and present recommendations to business management. to senior management; excellent organizational and problem solving skills; proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software. Decision making and budget management skills.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $140,000.00 to USD $180,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
